Test Coordinator
Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent (Employee only)
Languages: Dutch or French (fluent) + English (professional level)
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading public transport operator in Brussels, currently looking for a Test Coordinator to join their internal transversal testing team. You'll be responsible for managing and coordinating testing activities related to Passenger Information Systems, working across multiple technology-driven projects.
This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of IT, OT, and embedded systems, where quality and reliability are crucial to delivering real-time information to thousands of daily users.
- Define and maintain the test strategy for projects in the domain of passenger information systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor test activities, from preparation through execution and reporting.
- Design and execute system, integration, and end-to-end tests in collaboration with the testing team.
- Manage defect reporting and follow-up, ensuring alignment with project stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ensure test environments and scenarios are technically appropriate, especially within industrial and embedded system contexts.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, project teams, and technical departments to ensure smooth execution of test phases.
- Proven experience in test coordination or test management within IT/OT/embedded system environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- System Testing
- System Integration Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- Test Management tools such as Jira and TestLink
- Certified in ISTQB (or equivalent).
- Experience in environments involving industrial or embedded systems is a major plus.
- Able to manage test cycles across multiple concurrent projects.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in English.
