Description The media and entertainment industry is among the fastest-evolving sectors globally and we have an exciting new opportunity for someone keen to develop their underwriting career to join the CFC team.
Our Media team is at the cutting edge of this market and are recognised as being a highly specialised and expert team of underwriters. From podcasts to influencer marketing agencies - we understand how quickly the risks facing these emerging content creators and service providers can change and pride ourselves on our adaptability and exceptional service ethic. We consider submissions for media businesses globally and offer a cross-class package policy solution including E&O, Cyber, Public & Products Liability and Employers Liability As an Underwriting Assistant, you'll develop a thorough understanding of CFC's workflow processes and systems as well gaining exposure to insurance. A role as UA provides a great foundation for a career at CFC, with a number of our underwriters and underwriting team leaders starting their careers here!

About the role Day to day responsibilities will see you:
- Providing excellent administrative support to underwriting teams to ensure CFC can adhere to target turnaround times for our brokers and insureds;
- Managing the underwriting central inboxes and logging new and renewal submissions on CFC's internal underwriting system;
- Preparing various activity reports and spreadsheets as directed;
- Administering the department diary, including chasing outstanding items such as subjectivities and renewal business;
- Answering incoming calls and fielding queries as appropriate;
- General ad-hoc administrative duties as required

- Impeccable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times;
- Resilient and able to operate effectively and accurately under pressure
- Excellent level of attention to detail including accurate written and numeracy skills
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
