One of our industry leading clients are looking for a highly skilled User Terminal Architect to assist in designing advanced satellite ground terminals for a next-gen satellite network. You'll be in charge of picking the right technologies, designing the system, working with partners, and guiding the project from concept all the way to real-world deployment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and can work independently while managing multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of next-gen user terminals using phased-array or meta surface antennas.
• Select technologies, define system requirements, and manage integration across RF, modem, and mechanical subsystems.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and industrial partners to deliver functional, field-ready terminals.
• Guide hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes.
• Create technical documentation and stay current with industry standards and innovations.

Skills/Experience required:

• Extensive experience in satellite communications or high-frequency RF systems
• Background in EMC and environmental testing
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing in beamformed systems and software-defined modem architectures is a plus.
• MUST be eligible for "SECRET" security clearance
• Fluency in English
