This is a fantastic role for an exceptional talent with experience at change management and manufacturing site / supply chain operations to deliver towards the vision of GSK Smart Manufacturing 2030 programme.

As Value and Change Delivery Lead for the Advanced Scheduling programme, you will lead the programme of work for capability build and change management, embed at multiple sites in the GSK Global Supply Chain (GSC) network to ensure high user adoption rates and track delivery of committed programme benefits.

You will be the key point of contact for the Programme Lead and the Programme Management Lead, and collaborate with site functions in particular production scheduling and production management teams as well as central supply chain teams to establish the capability build and change management frameworks, and maintain the value delivery and change management programme plans.

This is a role that is critical to the success of the Advanced Scheduling programme that forms a key part of the Smart Manufacturing 2030 Vision for both the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Transformation workstreams. This role works closely with the Advanced Scheduling process / data / tech teams and Site functional teams, and is responsible for driving delivery of value from implementation of the advanced scheduling tool to meet business case commitments from all sites in scope, user adoption of the advanced scheduling tool and transforming global process standards, through effective change management, with the Scheduling and operational teams across all sites in scope, in alignment with Smart Manufacturing-Manufacturing and Supply Chain Transformation change management framework.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, integrated set of change management and capability build / training plans, with a focus on value to delivery, distilling complexities across various functional areas into realistic yet ambitious project execution plans
  • Collaborate with GSC cross-functional teams including Scheduling Process Owners, Tech teams, Procurement, Global Capital Project, Finance, Supply chain transformation programme, Site Logistics / Scheduling / Operations - as well as multiple third party vendors - to ensure integration of the change and capability build programmes
  • Ensure that detailed project and workstream change and capability build plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, cost/spend control mechanisms are in-place, with clear expectations of the standard of the outcomes, and de-risked
  • Facilitate regular change and capability build programme governance and team meetings - providing updates, resolving issues, identifying risks, ensuring actions items are addressed, communicating progress and sharing achievements to stakeholders and senior management
  • Facilitate regular value tracking governance and team meetings
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability across the teams, sites and partners. Create the climate for continuous improvement way of working and drive problem solving with the most appropriate solution considering cost and business needs for the short and long term

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Change management skills / qualifications, with direct experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in particular driving change in the space of site supply chain operational functions
  • Demonstrated strong ability to collaborate with and drive performance across multiple functions and third party vendors in the supply chain technology area
  • Experience in manufacturing site ways of working and knowledge in the business requirements of production scheduling and supply planning
  • Experience in operational budget management and financial performance management
  • Experience in Project management

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a supply chain or technical field related to life sciences
  • Technology solution deployment change management experience
  • Demonstrated capacity, mental agility and resilience to work with changing scope, tight deadlines and manage multiple inter-dependencies
  • Demonstrated the continuous improvement mindset in action
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication / presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills across a multi-functional/multi-vendor programme structure, with high capacity to adapt priorities, organization and promote change management
