WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
Working as the Ventures Executive Team Assistant you will be at the heart of the team that supports the growth of our portfolio companies. The Ventures team is dedicated to providing the guidance, resources, and connections that help founders build brands that positively shape industries and communities. As the Ventures Executive Team Assistant, you will play the critical role in keeping the team organised, acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, proactively anticipating the team's needs, all to ensure that our investment process runs smoothly and our founders receive the best possible support.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
No two days will be the same and as the Ventures Executive Team Assistant, you will take charge of:

Diary Management:

  • Own and optimise schedules to maximise the team's efficiency.
  • Anticipate conflicts and ensure key meetings happen without a hitch

Team & Process Support:

  • Be the trusted first point of contact for the Ventures team.
  • Manage expenses, invoices, and budgets with precision.
  • Take meeting notes, track action points, and help streamline internal processes.

Document Preparation:

  • Create polished investment proposals, reports, and board packs that make an impact.
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, well-organised, and delivered ahead of time.

Travel Arrangements:

  • Organise seamless domestic and international travel for our team and founders.
  • Prepare detailed itineraries and anticipate every travel need.

Event Coordination:

  • Plan and execute standout events-from intimate founder dinners to high-impact networking gatherings.
  • Manage every logistical detail, from venues and catering to technology setup and transportation.
  • Be the friendly, organised point of contact for all attendees.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

To stand out in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in event coordination, team support, and administrative tasks, particularly within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changes.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate the team's needs and resolve challenges before they arise.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Technical proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office suite and managing the CRM
  • A collaborative mindset, willing to go above and beyond to support the Ventures team and portfolio companies.
  • An interest or experience in sustainability, entrepreneurship, or the venture capital space is a plus, as we focus on building brands that make a positive impact on society and the environment.
