Venue Finance Analyst

We are looking for a Venue Finance Analyst to support management accounting and business partnering for the Venue department. The role will provide accounting, analytical, and administrative reporting to the Transactional Financial Controller, while assisting on other key finance reporting and compliance areas.
Your day-to-day- Manage accounts and processes - you will complete the end of day daily reconciliation, reporting, and banking for club level, ticket sales, ticket exchange, membership sales, and booking fees.
- Champion collaboration - you'll effectively partner with the Venue team demonstrating strong communication to ensure financial processes are being effectively followed.
- Monitor department activity - you will assist on refunds, season ticket renewals and sales, preparing VAT receipts, and supporting any touting and fraud investigations.
- Coordinate invoices - you'll oversee visiting teams' invoices for their ticketing allocations to ensure they are generated and paid in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing support - you'll support administrative analysis, including monthly gate statements to reconcile gate receipts on a match-by-match basis.
- Background in accounting - you have proven knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
- Proven experience in a similar finance environment - you have experience working in a high transactional reconciliation environment across different products and services, and ideally you have some familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Best-in-class organisational skills - you possess an excellent ability to multi-task and manage a variable and complex workload.
- Excellent attention to detail - you're able to work at pace without compromising accuracy or quality.
- Passion for cross collaboration and an enthusiastic mindset - you have excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to work with a broad range of colleagues, and you take a proactive approach with a genuine curiosity to improve processes.
