We're searching for an experienced Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling visual narratives. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of Carv's content, bringing your technical expertise and creative vision to every project.
Responsibilities:
Edit high-quality videos for Carv's app, YouTube, and social media platforms.
Create visually engaging stories that resonate with skiing audiences.
Synchronize audio, color grade, and refine footage to deliver polished final products.
Collaborate with producers, motion designers, and other team members to align with the creative vision.
Maintain consistent quality and brand voice across all content formats.
Requirements:
3+ years of video editing experience in commercial, documentary, or action sports.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related tools.
Great attention to detail - loves to get the little things right.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Passion for skiing and experience editing snow sports or outdoor content.
Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in snowsports content - avid consumer of snowsports media.
Interest in social media and Youtube - experience understanding editing trends and techniques to keep audience interest across a variety of platforms.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects.
The Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in Motion Design, using Adobe After Effects, or similar platform
Experience in Grading and colour correction using DaVinci Resolve or similar tools
Interest in sound design - experience with Adobe Audition
