Associate Workday Engagement Manager (Consultant Level)

The purpose of this role is to support Workday Project Managers/Workday Engagement Managers to successfully deliver Workday implementation projects. This role requires the application of formal ERP deployment methodology, core project management skills and principles coupled with external and internal stakeholder management skills.

Areas of Responsibilities

• Timely management of project financials including proactive and efficient monitoring of utilization.
• Project status report preparation based on input from the project team.
• Project planning and monitoring of milestone executions.
• Managing project governance including proactively managing and mitigating risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
• Ensures project staff availability to align with project schedule and identify any future risks and escalates resource gaps.
• Communicates timely & effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support internal project team members with prioritizing activities.
• Regularly maintains and updates Workday tools to meet compliance needs.
• Contributes to sharing learnings internally and developing internal CloudRock asset library.

Necessary Experience

• 3 years' experience within a professional services consultancy in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience of project management within the HR/Fins transformation space, managing sizeable end-to-end projects.
• Demonstrable experience of planning, creating, and managing project budgets.
• Demonstrable experience of defining project schedules and delivering projects - using formal/recognized project management methodologies (Prince2 or PMI).
• Understanding of HR and/or Financial processes as domain subject matter.
• Advanced Excel skills and good level of proficiency with MS tools suite.
• Planning & Organization - Plans and prioritizes work efficiently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently. Adapts to changing priorities and ensures resources are allocated appropriately.
• Time Management and Scheduling - Manages workload efficiently by prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. Uses scheduling tools effectively and meets deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Risk Management & Problem Solving - Identifies risks and assesses potential impacts. Analyzes problems, suggests solutions, and implements corrective actions with some supervision.
• Stakeholder & Communication Management - Builds and maintains positive stakeholder relationships, adapting communication style to different audiences. Conveys key messages effectively and resolves minor conflicts professionally.
• Budgeting & Financial Awareness - Prepares and manages budgets, monitors spending, and analyzes financial data.
• Accuracy & Precision - Works with accuracy, proactively checking for and correcting errors.
• Analytical Skills - Analyzes data effectively, identifies trends, and supports decision-making.
• Team Leadership - Exposure to team supervision/coaching/mentoring.

Desirable Certifications

• Project Management certifications (APM or PMI certifications).
• Any Workday certification.
