Workday Practitioner - Workstream Lead

Location: London / Remote

Rate:Daily Rate Inside IR35

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday-certified practitioner to act as a workstream lead for the implementation of Workday UK as part of a Global HCM and Payroll Transformation. This role will involve overseeing the UK Workday deployment while also shadowing Workday during one of the first Ireland payroll deployments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of Workday HCM and Payroll processes, providing expertise in Workday configurations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Workday UK implementation workstream within the global HCM and Payroll transformation program.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and Workday teams to ensure best practices in configuration and deployment.

• Assist in system design, payroll integration, testing, and go-live readiness.

• Shadow Workday teams during the first Ireland payroll deployment to gain insights and support the transition.

• Provide guidance on optimizing Workday HCM and Payroll functionality.

• Conduct workshops and training sessions for internal teams.

Requirements:

• Workday certification is mandatory - only certified professionals will be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in Workday HCM and Payroll implementation.

• Experience leading Workday deployment projects, particularly in UK payroll.

• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configurations, and reporting.

• Familiarity with Workday payroll integrations and compliance requirements.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience working in global or multi-country Workday rollouts is a plus.
