Role description:
Integration of class-leading technology solutions in our workplaces is a key lever to the success of the global workplace function and an enabler to operate our global real estate in an intelligent and real-time state. It is vital we have standardized workplace digital solutions and a sufficient support network internally that can manage service providers, improve technology solutions, work with internal stakeholders and customers, and ensure clear processes and communications.
Accountable to the Global Workplace Function, this role will be responsible for the development and delivery of the workplace technology roadmap. The role will support the delivery of the workplace vision to deliver a best-in-class user experience in the delivery of the roadmap and identification, deployment, and operation of workplace technology solutions.
The role will represent workplace operations globally and have a direct interface with Arcadis Tech and key stakeholders including business units, enabling functions, and other workplace sub-functions. The role offers the opportunity to be part of a global team that delivers workplace experience across 50 countries.
Reports to Global Workplace Operations Director and dotted line to Global Projects Director.
Role accountabilities:
GENERAL Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the roadmap for workplace technology development ensuring milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities are clearly defined and continually reviewed.
Development of Global Workplace technology solutions and ensuring business readiness Ownership/Understanding (SME) of all workplace technology systems processes and arrangements in use across the portfolio for key workplace operations activities.
Oversight of an asset inventory of hardware and systems/software to support roadmap planning and ensure this is continually maintained.
Delivery of the Global Workplace technology roadmap aligned to milestones and budget, ensuring key stakeholders are aware of the plan and its progress.
Management of Global Workplace operational technology contracts, including print, AV, and Intelligent Building Systems, including the management of assets and provision of data insights & reports.
Support local workplace managers in the alignment & integration of local technology solutions to Global solutions to ensure expected operational requirements and standards are met.
Support Global Workplace project teams with deployments to ensure expected operational requirements and standards are met.
Liaison with Arcadis Tech and other key stakeholders to ensure the full technology product lifecycle from the alignment of business requirements, configuration, deployment, testing, communications, and maintenance through to decommissioning are agreed upon and managed,
Liaison with Key stakeholders including Arcadis Tech to define, continually improve, and manage the processes, standards, roles, and responsibilities required to:
Ensure user experience is aligned with the Workplace Promise and our property service standards, and users receive the support required to use all Workplace Technology.
TACTICAL Key Accountabilities:
Maintenance of Workplace digital solutions information on the Intranet
Ownership and management of assets required for the operation of Workplace digital solutions.
Collaborate with our partners and suppliers to develop training materials and supporting information including general guidance, and FAQs.
Escalating issues that need additional stakeholder involvement, monitoring progress, and driving swift resolution.
Obtaining required approval on business cases & recommendations, including presenting recommendations to the Global Projects Director and Global Workplace Director
Key Shared Responsibilities:
Delivering the Workplace Promise & User Experience Standards consistently within the portfolio.
Assisting in delivering agreed objectives specific to the Global Workplace.
Supports the global function in the development of business cases and supporting material required to seek approval from the global leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience:
An individual with knowledge of Workplace Digital Solutions and an enthusiasm to learn and develop this knowledge across a broad range of solutions.
Experience in rolling out workplace technology solutions on a global scale.
Experience in interfacing with technology functions and end-users.
Ability to elicit business requirements and translate these into digital solutions.
IT technical know-how to support applications on various platforms/devices.
Understand the business processes that drive the decisions Arcadis take on the provision of digital solutions and their configuration.
Good communication skills & ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
