3rd Line Engineer

Hays are supporting an MSP in Frome with the recruitment for a 3rd line IT engineer. The role is paying up to £45,000pa depending on experience and will offer hybrid working post probation period.

In the role you'll work with various clients dealing with technical escalations from the 2nd line team. You'll also work with the Service Manager to support with best practice and continuous improvement. You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in project-based work and support more junior members of the 1st and 2nd line team.

You'll need to have experience at a 2nd or 3rd line level, ideally within a managed service provider environment, and have experience working with external clients. A range of technical knowledge is required across technologies such as M365 & Azure Administration, including inTune and Endpoint management. Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy versions 2012/2016/2019/2022. Broad networking experience, & Firewall management. Cyber security awareness is desirable, as is ITIL knowledge and best practice.
