Are you a talented Software Developer looking for your next challenge? We are currently recruiting for a high volume of 12-month fully remote contracts for our esteemed public sector client. We have 10 live vacancies for Backend Java Developers and Full Stack Java and Angular Developers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
4. Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.

Essential Skills:

Backend:

1. Java v17
2. Spring/Spring Boot

Front End:

1. Angular/HTML
2. AWS Cloud services
3. Local Stack Alfresco/Activiti/Camunda
4. Apache Kafka
5. MongoDB / MySQL or other RDBS
6. Kubernetes / Docker
7. Micro-services Architecture
8. Security and PKI
9. KeyCloak
10. XML
11. Leadership/Mentoring

Desirable Skills:

1. Redis
2. Apache Nifi
3. GIS
4. Apache Zookeeper
5. Developing and supporting high availability systems
6. An interest in DevOps principles and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes clusters including helm charts, GitOps practices including Flux, and service mesh technologies such as Istio
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with both business and technical stakeholders at various levels in the organisation
8. Linux (in a containerised environment)
