Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and identifying opportunities for market growth
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to drive performance, ensuring KPIs and objectives are consistently met
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand the company's presence within the UK telecoms industry and other relevant sectors
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
- Working closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience
- Negotiating high-value contracts, identifying potential partnerships, and leveraging networks to open new revenue streams
Skills/Must have:
- Strong understanding of the UK telecoms industry or similar industries, including experience working with distributors, end users, and contractors
- Awareness of market trends, particularly the increasing importance of distribution as a key sales channel
- Proven ability to manage key customers over the long term, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty
- Exceptional leadership skills to galvanise and motivate the sales team to close deals, take ownership, and operate with consistent professionalism
- A track record of winning new business and successfully managing accounts
- Experience in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within vertical markets to maximise revenue
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of challenges and drive solutions
