A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled fully ACCA Qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-established business based in Coventry. This company has been operating for over 20 years, employing more than 200 staff, and is known for its commitment to excellence within its industry. This role would be ideal for a candidate that has recently worked for an accountancy practice and is looking to get into industry.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from home for three days a week while being office-based for two days. With a competitive salary of £55,000 plus excellent benefits, this position is ideal for a finance professional looking to further their career in a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end accounting processes, ensuring accuracy across key balance sheet categories.
• Prepare balance sheet reports, budgets, and forecasts while liaising with key stakeholders.
• Manage tax and statutory compliance, collaborating with external advisors to meet deadlines.
• Lead a team of three finance professionals, ensuring training and development needs are met.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, ensuring efficient financial processes and internal controls.

What Experience is Required:

• ACA/ACCA fully qualified with at least three years of experience in accounting, either in practice or industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and balance sheet control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with an analytical and methodical approach to tasks.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary of £55,000 per annum.
• Hybrid working model: two days in the office, three days from home.
