Accountant (NetSuite)

Salary: £75,000 pa

Location: London (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

Our client is looking for a forward-looking, analytical and operational Accountant to take ownership of the OPEX reporting. You will have overall responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting for OPEX for the client. You will be an important contributor on both administrative and operational matters related to group OPEX.

Responsibilities

1. Taking ultimate responsibility for all operating costs across all of the client's companies, including preparing commentary for the senior finance and management teams.
2. Owning the group budgeting and forecasting process for operating costs.
3. Analysing operating cost trends and providing insights to management.
4. Assisting with the preparation of OPEX-related financial statements and disclosures.
5. Assisting with the implementation of new recognition systems and processes.
6. Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure operating costs are optimised and regular reviews of the operating cost base are performed to identify potential cost savings.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

1. Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA).
2. Proficient in NetSuite (super user).
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. IFRS reporting required.
7. Local European GAAP reporting experience beneficial.
8. European languages would be beneficial.
