Accounts Assistant

Hays is working with a multinational steel manufacturing company looking to expand their growing finance division. The business has doubled in turnover over the last year as they plan to expand globally. Most importantly, they are looking for someone to grow organically with the business with great communication and resilience.
General duties:
- Month end bank reconciliations and journals
- Administrative tasks
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Wages cover and monitoring
- KPI development and monitoring
- Ad hoc reporting for local and group needs
- Occasional travel to Birmingham
Skills necessary:
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Logical and organised worker
- Previous experience using SAP
- Must be IT literate and able to adapt to multiple systems
- Can do attitude - we are a small team, so ability to adapt and get stuck in
