You will work for a very well-established, stable, and thriving Media Publishing business, headquartered in the heart of central London.


Your new role

In this permanent Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger job, you will work within a transactional accounting team (AP/AR), reporting to the AP Supervisor and AP Manager. The team are high-performing, hard-working, dynamic and ambitious. This is a varied, end-to-end Accounts Payable job. Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  1. Processing supplier invoices (high volume)
  2. Processing company credit cards (high volume)
  3. Gaining authorisation for invoices to be paid, liaison with various internal stakeholders
  4. Supplier statement reconciliation
  5. Investigation and resolution of supplier queries (liaison internally and externally)
  6. Reviewing aged creditors
  7. Preparation and execution of payment runs (twice monthly)
  8. Assisting the team with the ongoing development and implementation of system and process improvements
  9. Setting up new suppliers
  10. Processing staff expenses
  11. Working with multiple currencies

What you'll need to succeed

  1. You will have recent, relevant experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, with a desire to further your career in this field.
  2. You will have experience dealing with high-volume invoice and credit card processing.
  3. Multi-currency experience is highly advantageous (particularly USD and AUD).
  4. You will be a focussed and process-driven individual with great attention to detail.
  5. You will possess intermediate Excel skills (inclusive of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
  6. You'll be hardworking and deadline-focused.
  7. You'll have an upbeat, positive persona, with a high-achieving nature.
  8. The ability to follow instructions and ask questions when necessary.
