We're all about flexibility, community and a healthy work-life balance. Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office working. When you'll be in the office depends on your role, but you can expect to work from our London office between 8-12 days per month. To support this, the successful applicant should be within a reasonably commutable distance to our office (Gray's Inn Road, London, WC1X 8HB).

Join the EVolution:

You will play a key role in managing and processing our incoming bills and expenses. You will ensure that all of the bills are paid on time, maintaining good relationships with vendors and contributing to smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Reviewing, verifying, and entering invoices into the accounting system. Ensuring invoices match purchase orders and receipt confirmations before approval.
• Payment Processing: Ensuring that payments are made to vendors, contractors, or suppliers on time, whether via checks, electronic transfers, or other methods. Scheduling payments to take advantage of discounts or avoid late fees.
• Maintaining Vendor Records: Updating and managing accurate vendor information, ensuring that all accounts and contacts are current.
• Reconciling Statements: Comparing the company's records with vendor statements to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and resolving any discrepancies.
• Managing Expense Reports: Reviewing and processing employee expense reports, ensuring that expenses align with company policy.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, including receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations, for future reference or audits.
• Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communication: Communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues.

We think the role would be great for somebody who has previously worked in a similar role and is now looking for a bigger opportunity to step up and grow their career. It would also be beneficial to have:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with Salesforce and Sage 200.
• Part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
• Passion and knowledge about climate change, sustainability, and/or the EV industry.
