Senior Accountant (Local Accountancy Practice, Inverness)

Person Specification:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Proficiency with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks Online, Sage Desktop, IRIS, and Excel).
• Strong experience meeting client deadlines and managing workloads.
• A motivated team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized companies (FRS 105 & FRS 102 1A).
• Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and actionable advice.
• Sound knowledge of Corporation and Personal Tax matters.
• Supervision and mentoring of junior staff members.
