Accounts Senior

The Firm:

A local accountancy practice in Gateshead are seeking an Accounts Senior, to join their relaxed friendly office to manage a portfolio of clients. They are able to offer flexible working with adjusted start and finish times as well as hybrid, perfect for those juggling other commitments.

The Role:

• Managing your own portfolio of SME and OMB clients with regular contact to assist with data collation as well as month and year end queries.
• Preparation of year end financial statements from trial balance.
• Year end corporation tax computations.
• Submission of year end accounts and C ompanies house filing
• Liaison with HMRC

Experience required:

• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience working in an accountancy practice
• Able to prepare a full set of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP for review
• AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or by experience
