Job Title: Admin/Data Protection - Subject Access Request Officer

Pay Rate: £14.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to Subject Access Requests (SARs) in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring all requests are processed efficiently and within required legal timescales.
• Accessing and extracting information from computer and/or paper records in response to a SAR, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and best practices.
• Interpreting information to ensure that the data provided is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including families, to ensure smooth communication and effective handling of requests.
• Providing advice and assistance on SAR matters as required, ensuring a high-quality, timely service is delivered to all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional with:

• Previous experience of records management.
• Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C or 9-4) including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications and relevant demonstrable experience.
• Previous administrative experience, with a working knowledge of social care settings being desirable.
