Location: Torquay
Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) + NHS pension + benefits
Hours: Full-time or part-time considered

A well-established and progressive GP practice in Torquay is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join its committed and supportive clinical team. Located on the beautiful South Devon coast, the practice serves a diverse patient population and is focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care across a broad spectrum of patient needs, including acute presentations, chronic disease management, and minor illnesses.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting clinical assessments and providing diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribing medications within the scope of professional practice (V300 required)
• Managing long-term conditions and urgent/same-day patient needs
• Contributing to the achievement of QOF and other clinical targets
• Providing clinical leadership and support to other members of the team

Candidate Requirements

• Registered with the NMC with a recognised MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent)
• Independent Prescriber (V300 qualification essential)
• Demonstrable experience in primary care or general practice
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
