Job Description

Location: Kingswinford (Covering North East)

ABOUT THE ROLE -

Meet ERIKS' commitment to "Make Industry work Better" for our Strategic and Key Contract customers through collaborative improvement activities delivering improved performance, production yield, reliability, standardisation or reduced total cost of ownership and risk.

Undertake site visits to Strategic & Key Contract MRO customers, engage with their Engineering community, and identify production problems that we can practicably solve.

Promote the correct specification of standard engineered products and configured assemblies from our trusted brands into our MRO customer applications.

Develop fully costed solutions, and prepare or present technical proposals that detail features and benefits, for submission in conjunction with the quotation that is generated via our sales channels.

Deliver engineering solutions for customers with contractual "Technical Benefits Saving" commitments.

Project sign-on and sign-off, to capture the delivered value must be completed in collaboration with the Value Delivery Team.

Assist PBU Product Managers in the delivery of technical training to customers and colleagues, commercial strategy development and joint A-Brand customer visits.

Provide 3rd line, technical customer support for:

  1. Technical response to product failure, quality concerns, warranty claims
  2. Compliant sourcing

ABOUT YOU -

Commercial acumen - Strong understanding of the MRO market & the areas of opportunity for profitable growth for each of the business models supported via our Operations function.

Strong understanding of service metrics & continuous improvement.

Insight into & experience of Solution Selling & Engineering Maintenance management.

Understanding of the ERIKS organisation and our supply chain role & processes.

Understanding of our customers' business and their operating challenges (where ERIKS can help).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
