Area Sales Manager

A field-based territory sales role promoting a leading range of heat pumps and plumbing and heating valves and controls, which includes showers, taps and mixers, through an established network of national and independent plumber's merchants.

Package: £45k basic with a £12k uncapped OTE (commission paid monthly as a percentage of sales), hybrid VW Tiguan, fuel card, laptop, mobile and pension.

Territory: Scotland

Products: Heat pumps and plumbing, heating and bathroom controls - taps, showers, mixers and valves

Customers: National and independent plumber's merchants, bathroom showrooms, contractors and installers.

The Role - Area Sales Manager:

A field-based account management role, inheriting an established and well-performing area.

Promoting my client's leading range of domestic & commercial heat pumps, valves, taps, showers, mixers and plumbing and heating controls.

Account managing and developing the relationship with a very well-performing portfolio of national and independent plumbing merchants.

Strengthening relationships and working with your merchants to increase their product knowledge and commitment to the brand.

Whilst also looking after independent bathroom showrooms, and helping strengthen relationships with contractors and installers.

The Successful Applicant - Area Sales Manager:

You will have field sales experience from within the plumbing or heating industry.

This will ideally have been gained from a manufacturer or distributor, selling into the merchant sector.

This though is not essential, and you could equally be working for a merchant looking to move across.

Either way you will be a strong account manager with first-class communication skills, with a proactive and professional approach to territory sales.
