Area Sales Manager (Area 2) Surrey and Sussex Areas

Day Aggregates is one of the largest independent aggregate companies operating mainly in the South. We have a position for an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop business activity within the growing South West business. The position is based at our Avonmouth Depot and will be responsible for all the commercial activity within the market area.

Key Accountabilities and Objectives

• Managing contract sales accounts within the region.
• Working with the internal Sales Team based at Avonmouth Depot.
• Retaining and growing existing business.
• Gaining new business through pro-active marketing.
• Range sell the Company's and Factored Materials.
• Promote the Day Group and its activities.
• Maximise levels of profit and margin.
• Provide a high level of service to customers at all times.

Other Duties

• Conduct any other reasonable duties/requests as required by Manager and Directors.
• Conform with all Company policies.

Person Specification

• Experience in the field sales environment.
• Must have an enthusiastic, pro-active and positive attitude.
• Attention to detail with good communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to use initiative in solving problems.

This role would be based at Purley Sales Office and cover Surrey and Sussex areas.

Working times/hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 0700 - 1730, including 30 minutes unpaid for lunch.
