Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Drive the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Strategy Development and Project Portfolio Management:
2. Provide Technical Advisory & Thought Leadership Services:
3. Support the overall Innovation Accelerator operations:

Deliverables at the End of the Contract:

• Develop an AI/ML strategy for the WFP Innovation Accelerator.
• Generate a pipeline of external and internal AI/ML projects.
• Build partnerships with external organizations.
• Ensure documentation of all work and materials developed.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, marketing, analytics, or related quantitative discipline preferred. Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: At least 5 years of progressively responsible international experience in technology strategy and portfolio management.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Technical understanding of AI/ML applications and methodologies.
• Experience in innovation project life cycle.
• Piloting and scaling of AI/ML solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex issues for a non-technical audience.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills.

Languages: Fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is advantageous.
