To support the Senior Management Accountant and the Income and Contracting team in the implementation of a wide range of Finance projects, developing financial and IT skills and expertise, in order to take responsibility for specific aspects of the work.
To assist in the monthly income processing, ensuring all income is invoiced, reconciled and reported correctly within the ledger.

Job ResponsibilitiesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and inquisitive AAT qualified individual to join our Income and Contracting team as an Assistant Project Accountant.
This role will support the data quality aspect of income and help the team to monitor and report on the work that they do in relation to optimising income delivery. You will have the opportunity to get involved with the creation and improvement of complex Excel spreadsheets, data manipulation and interpretation, while working with teams across the whole organisation.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for individuals wishing to gain exposure to contracting income in the NHS. You will be expected to assist in the monthly income processing, ensuring income is invoiced, reconciled and reported accurately.
You can be based at either Newcourt House in Exeter or Devonshire House in Barnstaple (whichever you prefer) but will be required to travel between sites as needed. We work in a hybrid office environment with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
