Job Description

At Asket, our vision is a world free of mindless consumption. To get there, we are on a mission to slow down the fashion industry by creating one permanent collection of garments that last longer, do better by people and planet, and allow us to live fulfilled with less.

As an Assistant Manager of our London store, you will be a key player in achieving our brand mission and play a pivotal role in manifesting our brand ethos in our first physical store outside of Sweden.

Rather than just another transactional store, the Asket store aims to create an in-depth experience with, and conversation around, our garments, leaving the customer to invest in them on his or her terms; in-store, from home - or not at all. You'll play a key role in replicating the exceptional service level that visitors of our current store have come to experience, as well as assist the Store Manager to develop it further. Your task is to translate our ethos into a world-class in-store experience, catering both to existing customers and people new to our brand and mission. As Assistant Store Manager, your responsibilities include being present and a role model in the day-to-day as well as assist the Store Manager in managing ongoing store operations.

You're joining an ambitious, dynamic, and deeply caring team on a high-paced and challenging journey to fundamentally change the way we manufacture, market, and consume garments today.

Mission:

Replicate and further develop a world-class service and product experience in our new London store. Service existing Asket customers and onboard new customers to Asket's mission and philosophy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a world-class service and product experience to store clients.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring the ASKET values and mission are embodied in every aspect of the store experience.
  • Assist the Store Manager in further developing store operations, processes, and routines, such as but not limited to, inventory and re-order management, servicing customers from both online and offline, managing in-store returns, as well as repairs and store admin tasks.
  • Feedback to and collaboration with the product team.
  • Implementation of visual merchandising.
  • Ongoing identification and implementation of service and in-store experience improvements.
  • Assist with training and developing store staff.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Unpretentious, hard-working, and itching to contribute to achieving Asket's vision and mission to fundamentally change the apparel industry for the better.
  • Obsessed with customer service, people development, retail, and high-quality clothing.
  • A keen interest in the industry as a whole.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
  • Highly organized and experienced individual.
  • Motivated, problem-solver, and a self-starter.
  • Fast learner and quick to get into new IT systems and processes.
  • Knowledge in Google Suite.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.

Available to start in March.

Proof of right to work in the UK is required.
