Your impact

As an Associate Director at Jacobs, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of major infrastructure projects. Your expertise in planning and leadership will drive positive outcomes in the energy, water, and transportation sectors.

About the Opportunity:

At Jacobs, we tackle global challenges to create resilient environments, thriving communities, and sustainable solutions. Our Water & Environment business is the UK's top Environmental Consultancy, and our Town Planning team leads major infrastructure projects across the UK, Ireland, and globally.

We are delivering numerous energy, water, and transportation projects and seek candidates with strong planning experience in the energy/renewables sector.

As an Associate Director at Jacobs, you'll work on exciting projects across various sectors in the UK, Ireland, and beyond. You'll have the chance to make a real impact on major projects and help shape the future.

Here's what you'll need

  • Recognised planning qualification and chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Knowledge of UK town planning, Development Consent Orders, and energy consents legislation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder consultation.
  • Strong project management, governance, and commitment to health, safety, and inclusivity.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills for early career colleagues.
  • Strategic mindset and business development acumen.
