Automation Engineer - Antwerp Region - Permanent Role

I am partnered with a leading automation machinery manufacturing company dedicated to the manufacturing and installation of automated production lines & automation systems for their clients in process industries (chemical, food manufacturing etc).

Responsibilities:

• Join a team responsible for the programming of PLCs, HMIs & SCADA systems.
• Take a significant role in the A-Z of turn-key machine building projects, being involved from design to installation of unique automated systems.
• Develop and optimise automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D teams to optimise automation solutions for new and existing manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• A degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of automation engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in the programming of PLCs (primarily Siemens), HMI systems, and SCADA systems.
• Enjoyment in a technically challenging role.
• Willingness to travel abroad for commissioning.
