ABOUT THE GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE TEAMThe Global Infrastructure Team is made up by various departments, including Mac Support, AV Support, Network Support, and Identity & Storage. This role is specifically focused on working with the AV Support team while also collaborating closely with other areas in its development.
The AV Support team consists of three members based at TVC (the London office) but works with staff globally across Europe, the Americas, and the Asia Pacific region.

THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced AV Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support to corporate users for Zoom, Teams software, Poly, Logi, Crestron hardware, and other AV technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our AV systems, providing technical support to users, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for AV systems including Zoom, Teams software, Poly, Logi, Crestron hardware, and other AV technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to AV systems, including firmware updates and software patches.
- Manage the inventory of AV equipment, including ordering new equipment as needed.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new AV systems, including design, testing, and deployment.
- Provide end-user training and support for AV systems, including documentation and user guides.
- Collaborate with other IT and AV teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of AV systems with other corporate technologies.
- Maintain accurate records of all support and maintenance activities.
- Operate audio and visual equipment with the aim to provide high-quality services for live events and other productions across client sites.
- Assist in the setup and support of company events.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Experience in AV support, with a focus on Zoom, Teams software, Poly, Logi, Crestron hardware, and other AV technologies.
- Good technical skills in troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining AV systems.
- Good understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations.
- Experience with network and infrastructure technologies, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Good knowledge of video conferencing and collaboration tools and best practices.
- Experience with documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Able to travel to various remote offices within Europe, with the possibility of occasional global travel.
- This role requires hands-on activities and the candidate must be comfortable using ladders and various equipment.
- Experience uninstalling and reinstalling TV Screens and AV Equipment as part of a team, building mobile AV carts that can then be wheeled into various locations to support events.
- Experience installing and running cables under the floor and potentially in cable trays; ladder safety certification training will also be required by our Engineering team in order to use the ladders in a safe manner.
- Experience of checking Audio Visual systems for defects and troubleshooting solutions.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus London Weighting Allowance of £5,319 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
This role will require to be in the London office, TVC on most days of the week due to the nature of the role.
