Freelance AWS Cloud Engineer

For one of our global clients in the construction industry, we are searching for a Freelance AWS Cloud Engineer to work on a full remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing their AWS cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize AWS cloud environments with a focus on cost efficiency and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Work with containerization technologies such as EKS and Docker.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and scale applications on AWS.
• Support cloud migration projects, moving workloads from on-premises to AWS.

Your Profile:

• Extensive experience with AWS services.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security practices and best practices for cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Please note, you must be based in Belgium.
