Azure DevOps Business Analyst

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Business Analyst for 12 Months contract based in Derby (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Job description - the role

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Business Analyst to work on a critical and time-sensitive programme. The role requires a professional who can bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring efficient communication, accurate requirement articulation, and successful project delivery within strict deadlines.

As an IT Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Translate complex IT concepts into clear, actionable business requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Support requirement traceability, create user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate using Azure DevOps-based processes.
• Model and evolve business processes to meet project needs, leveraging software tools effectively.
• Ensure business testing aligns with enhanced processes for smooth implementation.

What we require from the candidate:

• Proven experience in delivering results under strict deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and user story creation.
• A balanced understanding of both business and technical needs.
• Experience in influencing programme direction and mediating conflicts.
• Previous experience working with suppliers and ensuring requirement traceability.
• Ability to quickly integrate into ongoing programmes and work independently to meet objectives.
