Job Description

Azure Integration Architect: Data Integration Architect, Azure Integration - AWS, API, MSSQL - Waregem Belgium - Flemish.

NOTE on the job;

Supporting TECHNICAL Analysis of Data Integration, Azure Integration. And connecting to Azure.

Client has a new Architecture Integration and service layer.

Problem; Progress the current inhouse database but they are phasing this out.

Project carve out away from progress to new applications.

Soon they will use MAMBU - for core banking and building applications.

Belgian legislation is also important. Very specific legislations, and functionality specifical also.

Application must all talk/link and Azure Integration layer is the KEY to this.

Technical Analysis.

Flows from implementation integration, technical architecture of all applications.

VERY Technical role.

API - LOTS.

You will also be expected to work on support and maintenance of applications and help, guide, support others connected to this project, program.

AWS Knowledge, background a BIG advantage.

Banking, financial services, another big advantage

Strong MS SQL.

Proactive, can work independently, Coordinate both IT And business.

If you also know regulatory frameworks, Basel II or Basel 4 or GDPR this is a big plus.

As a Data Integration Architect, you play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust data integration solutions within the complex and demanding financial sector. You operate at the intersection of data analysis, architecture, and technology to ensure seamless, secure, and efficient data flows.

Your Responsibilities

* Optimizing Data Flows: Analyze and improve complex data flows between Legacy systems, cloud platforms, and modern data systems.

* Ensure all data processes comply with legal requirements such as GDPR, Basel III/IV, and other financial regulations.

* Oversee technical choices for internally used applications.

* Design solutions that ensure data integrity, consistency, and Real Time availability.

* Collaborate closely with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

* Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data integration performance and efficiency.

* Develop and implement strategies to protect sensitive financial data from breaches and cyberattacks.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs and share best practices with teams.

In short, as a Data Integration Architect, you are the key link between complex data systems and business strategies. You play a crucial role in ensuring data reliability and efficiency, helping financial institutions remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

What We Are Looking For

* A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field-though motivation and drive are just as important.

* 5-8 years of experience in data integration, system design, or architecture within the financial sector.

* Deep knowledge of integration tools and platforms such as Apache Kafka, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, or Microsoft Azure Data Factory.

* Experience with API design (REST, SOAP), ETL processes, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).

* Understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.

* Knowledge of data modelling, Data Vault, and big data solutions like Hadoop and Spark.

* Familiarity with regulations and data standards in the financial industry.

* Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* A mix of independence and teamwork, allowing you to collaborate effortlessly in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
