Backup Administrator SME - (Rubrik Migration)

Alexander Ash are currently working with a global firm who are looking for a Backup Administrator SME for a Rubrik Migration to join their multi-disciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity for any Backup Administrator SME to join a team of skilled and experienced consultants and seek to identify improvements and efficiencies, while utilising new technologies and existing tools as the organisation takes on one of it's biggest bodies of work.

Responsibilities/Skillset

• Experienced Backup Administrator with a strong background in Rubrik to lead the migration from Legacy backup platforms and manage large-scale storage capacity expansions.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in backup technologies, UNIX/Linux systems administration, and hands-on experience with Rubrik.
• Knowledge of Legacy platforms such as NetBackup, NetApp, TSM, and Avamar would be highly advantageous.
• This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, with a focus on delivering seamless migrations, optimising system performance, and ensuring scalable, reliable backup infrastructure.
• Remote working with weekend work for certain migrations
