Band 6 Complex Care Nurse

We have a new opportunity for a Band 6 Complex Care Nurse in Cheshire.

Contract date: ASAP-Ongoing

Shift: Full-Time

Days of Shift: Monday-Friday

Time for Shift: 08:00-17:30

Duties:

• Provide holistic care, advice, and guidance on the management of nursing needs to children and their families as delegated by the Senior Special Needs Nurse.
• Work under the professional and clinical direction of the Sister or Special Needs Clinical Lead in either an educational establishment, a child's home, or a care establishment.
• Work in close liaison with all other staff within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrate, teach, and supervise the nursing care that can be safely delegated, providing support as necessary.
• Be proactive in identifying risks to the safety of children.
• Work within the scope of Professional Practice in accordance with the policies.
• Take an active part in professional training/updating programmes to assist service needs/developments.
• Assist with the development and implementation of nursing standards within clinical practice.

Pay rate: £27 per hour

Experience: Adult or children's nurse with complex care skills, knowledge, and working experience of working with children or young adults with tracheostomies, PEG, tracheostomy, etc.
