Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Credit Portfolio Analyst - Banking

The Skills You'll Need: Mandarin and English fluent, solid credit portfolio management experience within banking. Climate change risk experience is preferred.

Reports to: Head of Credit Risk Dept.

To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:

  • are fluent in both Mandarin and English
  • have solid credit portfolio management experience within banking
  • have climate change risk experience

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Develop climate risk assessment scorecards in accordance with regulatory and HO's requirements.
  • Conduct climate change risk stress-testing and reporting.
  • Produce credit portfolio reports to Head Office, Local Regulators, and Senior Management, Credit Committee, Risk Committee, Audit Committee, etc.
  • Conduct post-lending management work including monitoring the performance of the credit portfolio and periodic credit risk assessments.
  • Produce regular reports on climate change risk.
  • Research climate change risk and proactively monitor/manage climate risks at customer and portfolio level.
  • Calculate IFRS9 provisions.
  • Assist the Head/Deputy Head of Credit Risk with other functions and tasks as required.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written.
  • At least 3-7 years of work experience in credit portfolio management.
  • Strong mathematical modelling/data processing skills.
  • Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in climate change risk is a plus.
