Banking & Finance Lawyer

Market leading law firm is seeking a Banking and Finance Lawyer to join its team in Bristol focusing on high-value and complex transactions across a wide range of sectors, including social housing, property development, local authority, healthcare, and education. The team acts for both funders and borrowers, including large and small corporate entities, charities, housing associations, local authorities, property developers, large institutional investors as well as banks.

This Banking and Finance opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible and agile working options accommodated. High levels of remote working allowed. Excellent salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Join an already high-performing team which has seen and is continuing to see impressive growth due to major tender wins on high-profile projects across the country.
2. Deal with the full range of finance matters, including the buying, building, development, disposal, and finance of property for clients in the health and social care sector.
3. Advise on high-value and complex transactions for all sorts of borrowers including large and small corporate entities, charities, housing associations, local authorities, and property developers.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years post-qualification experience.
2. Banking & Finance experience, and enjoy being part of a transactional team.
3. Experience advising clients on a full range of banking matters and transactions from start to finish.
4. It is not necessary to have any specific sector experience; however, property finance, housing finance, and/or capital markets experience would be beneficial.
5. Be a team player, with the drive and enthusiasm to help grow the Banking & Finance practice and deliver an area of strategic growth for the firm.
6. A keen interest in business development and a desire to grow your own network.
7. Experience of supervising juniors.
