We've launched an exciting new co-living brand designed to revolutionise premium residential living in Manchester. Our first building opened last year, and we're now preparing to launch our second building, complete with a private bar exclusively for Union residents and their guests. We're looking for dynamic and enthusiastic bar team members to help support the launch of this innovative new bar concept.
As a crucial member of our bar team, you'll play a key role in the success of this exciting project. You'll have the opportunity to embrace your creativity, bring fresh ideas to the table, and make your mark on an exciting new venture that's set to redefine the standard of residential living in the city.
Our Bar Supervisor
The Bar Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Union T2 bar while providing exceptional service to both customers and residents. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders & payments, serving food & drinks, and creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Lead and motivate a team of bar staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
- Oversee stock takes and manage ordering to ensure the bar is always well stocked and operational.
- Work towards meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue targets set by senior management.
- Drive the team to increase bar revenue through upselling, customer service excellence, and maintaining an engaging atmosphere.
- Accurately process all guest orders through the till systems, issue bills, and handle payment transactions with attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu and offerings to answer guest inquiries, provide recommendations, and enhance their dining experience.
- Prepare and serve food and snacks to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining a high level of presentation.
- Serve drinks to guests in a timely manner and proactively attend to their needs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Assist with regular health and safety checks, maintain cleanliness, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the bar area.
- Complete set-up, handover, and close-down duties to a high standard, ensuring the workspace is always ready for the next shift or service.
Who We Want To Join Our Team
- An experienced Bar Supervisor, well-versed in delivering premium experiences to residents & guests.
- Experience of leading a team with a proven track-record of results.
- Experienced cocktail mixologist.
- Previous food & beverage industry experience including stock rotation, daily due diligence, keeping fridge temperature records, adhering to allergen matrixes and other related Food Handling controls.
- Experience of delivering a luxury, unique concept.
- Excellent communication, organisational & customer service skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
- Event management experience would be a significant advantage, however full training is provided.
- Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Bar Supervisors must be technologically astute.
