AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
This is why the GCR Manufacturing BD team is looking for a BD Manager, MFG. In this role, you will identify & engage Manufacturing industry customer or any other customer assigned by Amazon Web Services.
The team is looking for candidates that possess subject matter expertise and experience in the manufacturing industry to develop and lead business development opportunities and projects.
Key job responsibilitiesThis role requires a high-functioning individual who is comfortable with the following (not exhaustive):
- Work with industry named accounts, and service team leaders to shape new manufacturing solutions, business models, and partnerships to support the manufacturing industry strategy.
- Monitor/evaluate industry trends and customer needs to develop business opportunities and identify potential projects.
- Develop/implement sales strategies, processes, and best practices across the company.
6 + years of technology related sales or business development experience.
Familiar with business and developer ecosystem in Cloud with proven sales record or win cases in.
BA/BS degree required.
Cloud & MFG knowledge experience is preferred.
A technical or presales background is preferred.
