Job Description

To strengthen our positioning and that of our consulting firms in large-scale RFPs and tenders in the Benelux region, we are looking for an experienced Bid Management Officer (M/F) to coordinate and optimize our opportunity identification and bid response processes.


As a Bid Officer, you will manage the entire bid process, from identifying opportunities to submission and follow-up. You will play a key role in ensuring a centralized and efficient approach, working closely with senior management, sales, technical teams, and support functions such as Marketing, Finance, and Legal. Your goal is to develop winning proposals aligned with our strategic ambitions. You will be primarily based in Belgium (Brussels) while collaborating with stakeholders across the Benelux region and the broader Alan Allman Associates ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct active market intelligence on relevant public and private tenders.
  • Analyze tender documents to assess their relevance and strategic alignment with the company's goals.

Preliminary Analysis

  • Apply Go/No-Go criteria to prioritize the most strategic opportunities.
  • Evaluate associated risks, including contractual terms and technical or organizational complexity.

Coordination and Proposal Writing

  • Organize and lead internal bid review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Gather and synthesize all necessary information for proposal writing, including certifications, references, and consultant CVs.
  • Facilitate the drafting of clear, structured, and compelling commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with tender requirements.

Bid Management Process

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deadlines and bid specifications are met.
  • Supervise quality reviews of bids to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Oversee the submission of proposals to clients via the appropriate platforms.

Post-Submission & Continuous Improvement

  • Organize post-submission debriefing sessions to analyze feedback and improve future bid responses.
  • Maintain a centralized database of submitted bids and standard templates.
  • Identify and share best practices across the organization.


Profile & Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in bid management, ideally in consulting, IT, or B2B environments.
  • Fluent English is essential, along with proficiency in either French or Dutch
