Role description:

Arcadis is searching for a BIM Coordinator to join its growing team. You will be facilitating the BIM production team liaising with various discipline groups that represent the Architectural teams across multiple sectors including Healthcare, Education, and Residential, coordinating with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and MEP. This coordinator would be part of an overall mission focusing on cross-sector synergy (between Places, Mobility, and Resilience) empowering global work-sharing, standardization, and optimization, as well as shepherding cross-sector collaboration and data harnessing throughout a project's lifecycle.

Role accountabilities:
  • Support the production of project BIM deliverables including drawings that are accurate, clear, and concise and compliant with Arcadis standards, best practice, and where required to client standards dictated by the nature of the project.
  • Troubleshoot workflow challenges and technical issues with project teams.
  • Contribute to BIM deliverables under the supervision of experienced project leads.
  • Successfully complete assigned BIM modeling work within budget and deadlines.
  • Ability to author BIM Execution Plans that speak to standards and procedures.
  • Make optimal use of software capabilities and make suggestions for expanding and development of software tools and/or adjustments of BIM models.
  • Make drafts, calculations, and analyses that are based and/or will be transferred to the BIM environment.
  • BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project models such as managing, reviewing, and auditing existing ongoing Autodesk Revit projects at regular intervals for compliance with office standards, level of development, and proper modeling/documentation practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with office Project Managers to anticipate upcoming modeling needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the support and educational needs of staff and projects are being met.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience with BIM Concepts and industry standards.
  • Strong knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software and related software and hardware.
  • Completion of a relevant diploma or degree program from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be an articulate, passionate, and persuasive communicator able to convey BIM concepts.
  • Must be a respectful and collaborative individual for a team-based work environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
