Brainbridge - Data Engineer

Your job responsibilities

• Proven experience with Delta Lake: Strong knowledge of building and maintaining Delta Lake architectures for scalable and reliable data processing.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with data lakes: Ability to design, implement, and optimize large-scale data lake solutions, ensuring data quality and governance.
  
• Proficiency with MongoDB: Experience working with document-oriented databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and high availability configurations.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services: Solid understanding of Azure data ecosystem, including services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  
• Experience with Cosmos DB: Familiarity with multi-model databases, especially designing, managing, and optimizing distributed, low-latency applications using Cosmos DB.
  
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and stream/batch processing architectures.
  
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, and governance best practices in a cloud environment.
  
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward performance optimization and innovation.
  

Your requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business engineering, business management or equivalent experience (5+ years)
• French speaking with a strong knowledge of English
• You are located in Belgium & able to work on-site/remote depending on the client's needs
