Brand Manager - European Brand & Portfolio Team

Here at innocent, we're on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we've gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe's biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).

What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for a Brand Manager - Core Portfolio in our European Brand & Portfolio Team to help us develop and deliver marketing initiatives. This is an exciting place to be as we're working on our growth ambition - broadening our product portfolio and the geographies we operate within.
The Brand Manager is accountable for the delivery of the Plans of our Core portfolio across Europe and supporting Senior Brand Managers in the delivery of their segment plans, working closely with Insight, R&D, Finance Creative, PMO, Commercial and other cross-functional teams.
It's a broad and challenging role which will help you to further develop your marketing competencies on an innovative and growing brand, and in a company that champions personal development and lots of potential for progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Long Range Planning (LRP) and Supporting Assets
- Support the delivery of the European Growth Plan on Core portfolio.
- Support/lead development of European toolkits/collateral that will be executed by the in-market teams. Co-ordinate plans with the other members of the central team to ensure local market teams have the right collateral on time and in full.
- Project Management
- Lead/Support the delivery of projects for Core portfolio for implementation in European markets: i.e. innovations and other NPDs - new products and packaging design, line/flavour extensions, limited editions, range rationalisation.
- Effectively use internal gate process to deliver these, including developing business cases and engagement with markets on execution plans.
- Business Excellence
- Track and monitor the category performance, as well as KPIs of key marketing initiatives across Europe.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work collaboratively with key business functions, including Insight, R&D, Creative, FFG, RGM, Finance, PMO and Commercial to support the development and the delivery of the plans.
You'll Have:
- Brand marketing experience, ideally from a top tier FMCG company, and ideally with international marketing experience.
- Experience of leading or supporting delivery of NPD including innovations.
- Strong cross-functional project management skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Highly curious with a thirst for learning through experience.
- Understanding and interest in consumer behaviour and attitudes and the drivers of these, keen eye for emerging trends and ability to work with insights.
- Cooperative with peers, managing impact of their own behaviour to work well with others.
- You will have creative spark coupled with commercial astuteness and good analytical skills.
- Confident self-starter with the passion and enthusiasm to get stuck into projects to deliver great business results and be resilient to work in a busy and complex environment.
- Results oriented and pro-active, have a sense of ownership. Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and complexity.
- As part of a small team, you will be expected to have a hands-on mentality and willing to work on all things big and small.
- Fluent in English, and it's also beneficial if you speak French or German.
