Senior Delivery Consultant - UK MEP and Civil Structural

Our client is a highly regarded consulting engineering firm known for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across a variety of sectors. The company prides itself on driving excellence in design, sustainability, and building performance. Due to a growing pipeline of work, they are looking to hire two experienced Building Physics Engineers to join their team and contribute to a range of exciting new projects.

The Role:

As a Building Physics Engineer, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing consultancy and support on building design projects with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall building performance. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, they will help shape the performance of buildings from concept to completion, ensuring all designs meet the highest environmental and energy standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with building performance assessments and simulations, including energy modeling, daylight analysis, and thermal comfort studies.
  • Supporting the design and delivery of sustainable building projects across a wide range of sectors.
  • Contributing to research and development in building physics to enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop high-performance, energy-efficient designs.
  • Providing technical support and advice to project teams and clients, ensuring compliance with building regulations and sustainability goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Building Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in building physics, building performance, or a similar consultancy engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of energy modeling, thermal analysis, and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with building performance software such as IES, EnergyPlus, or similar tools is highly desirable.
