Building Physics Engineer

The Role

As a Building Physicist, you will play a key role in optimising building performance, conducting sustainability analysis, and ensuring energy efficiency across a variety of projects. You will work with building envelope details, environmental simulations, and sustainable design concepts to drive high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop sustainable design concepts and simulations
2. Prepare detailed sustainability reports
3. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optimised building systems
4. Ensure compliance with BREEAM, UK regulations, and industry standards

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a passionate and driven professional with:

1. 5+ years' experience in a similar role
2. Advanced Excel skills & expertise in IES Virtual Environment
3. Familiarity with CAD/BIM
4. Low Carbon Energy Assessor accreditation (or working towards it)
5. Strong understanding of building design processes & system interactions
6. Excellent communication skills with strong report writing abilities
