  • Proactively collaborating with managers and the wider corporate project team to identify transformational and business as usual projects, ensuring clear and identifiable links to council priorities and objectives.
  • Supporting managers in the development of clear options appraisals, business cases and benefits realisation, in order to achieve approval and sign off.
  • Handing over approved projects to project managers for implementation.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator of technical information between parties.
  • Previous local government or public sector experience is desirable.

What we offer:

  • 32 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible working, including a hybrid working pattern, however there is an expectation of working in the office at least two days a week, and for in-person meetings.
  • Generous Local Government Pension scheme includes life cover (3 times annual salary); and an Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) scheme to enhance your pension provision.
  • Free employee parking close to the offices.
  • Instant Reward Scheme to recognise and reward innovative achievement.
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing counselling, advice and information.
  • Access to discounts and deals with hundreds of retailers, including discounted gym memberships and travel deals.
