Business Analyst

Nexeo is currently looking for a Senior Business and Functional Analyst to join the Fraud Cluster of one of the leading banks in Belgium.

As a Senior Business and Functional Analyst at Nexeo, your responsibilities will include:

• Business Analysis: Lead the collection and validation of business requirements using modeling techniques (Visio, UML, mock-ups).
• Functional Analysis: Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements for fraud detection and prevention tools.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and document end-to-end processes and data flows to ensure alignment with the Fraud Cluster strategy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in end-to-end testing of functionalities, ensuring high-quality delivery and monitoring at go-live.
• Change Management: Support businesses in onboarding new solutions and aligning their needs with delivered functionalities.

What are we expecting?

• Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong proficiency in English.
• Experience: At least 8 years in Business and Functional Analysis, preferably in a banking environment with exposure to fraud detection and prevention.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of IS and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and conceptual modeling tools (e.g., UML, Visio).
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus.
• Business Expertise:
• Customer-centric mindset with excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and banking operations is preferred.
• Soft Skills:
• Structured and organized approach.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Problem-solving, quality-oriented, and delivery-focused mindset.
