Do you have experience in identifying and developing opportunities for growing a business or a charity/not-for-profit organisation?
Does developing meaningful relationships and partnerships motivate you?
Can you confidently write funding proposals and reports and work with commissioners?
The Business Development and Funding Officer will work with our Head of Quality, Training and Networks and our Director of Operations to develop our relationships with funders, commissioners, and organisations who access our training and consultancy offer.
They will play a vital role in our team to ensure we have a programme of work and funding relationships in place to enable us to deliver our mission and support the long-term sustainability of One Small Thing.
You will nurture our existing partnerships and identify and develop relationships that will lead to a stronger client base for our future trauma-informed training and Quality Mark offering. You will also work closely with our Director of Operations to secure funding opportunities to support our team in delivering our mission.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience of working within the justice sector and the issues facing justice-involved women; however, if you have strong experience in business development, fundraising, and partnership building, we'd also love to hear from you.
You'll need to be comfortable managing your own workload while collaborating with others to maximize every opportunity to add value. This role will be hybrid, based in London (Vauxhall) with remote work flexibility.
LOCATION: Vauxhall, London. Office based with flexibility of up to 2 days a week remote working.
