Business Development Director, Consumer Goods & Retail

Avanade is looking for Business Development Managers who excel in collaborative, partner-driven sales environments. In this role, you will work closely with Accenture, which leads the client relationship as the account executive, while you specialize in identifying and delivering Microsoft-based solutions. Rather than direct sales, your focus will be on growing Avanade's business within Accenture's accounts, supporting their sales efforts, and driving Microsoft opportunities within the Consumer Goods & Retail sector.

You will collaborate daily with Accenture, leveraging their broader offerings while positioning Microsoft technologies to help clients modernize legacy systems, migrate to the cloud, and drive efficiency in financial services. Success requires strong relationship management skills, experience in complex enterprise sales, and the ability to navigate a structured, multi-stakeholder environment.

This role requires experience in net new sales, selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g., cloud implementation, business applications integration) to Financial Services accounts.

Avanade helps businesses transform with Microsoft technology, delivering innovative solutions in collaboration with Accenture. In this role, you will be part of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group, working closely with Accenture Client Leadership to identify and drive Microsoft-based digital transformation opportunities within their client accounts. Your focus will be on originating and leading Accenture's sales efforts around the Microsoft ecosystem and growing within these established client relationships.

We are looking for an Avanade Client Account Lead to capitalize on our capabilities. The goal is to originate and grow our core business by driving a collaborative growth strategy and supporting Accenture's sales and revenue targets. As a Client Account Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring these objectives are met.

This role has an industry focus within FSI, including but not limited to clients in banking, insurance, and capital markets sectors.
